Job Description

Sus Hi Eatstation in Orlando, FL is looking for one general manager to join our 37 person strong team. We are located on 1830 E Colonial Dr. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

The General Manager, or Master Sensei is in charge of their own Dojo! But with great power comes with great responsibility, and with that, the Master Sensei takes the responsibility of every single operation of the Dojo. The Master Sensei works closely with his or her Sensei Team, such as building sales, monitoring food and labor cost, scheduling, as well as taking charge of hiring in-store. Because of their many duties and responsibilities to the Dojo, the Master Sensei is required to have either an A.A or B.A./B.S. in a related field in order to be the best Master Sensei they can be!

The Master Sensei sets and achieves the highest standard in all areas of restaurant management including the employee experience, the customer experience, and financial results. He/she oversees training and development of restaurant employees and effectively addresses the needs of the customer, and other employees. He/she maintains a clean, organized restaurant with properly functioning of all equipment. The responsibilities of this position require the Master Sensei to be on their feet during hours worked, unless on break or in the office working on the computer or on other paperwork-related tasks. If they are not busy, they are expected to evaluate what other tasks need to be completed, and assist others with those tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff and delegate responsibility as needed
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards
  • Manage profit and loss figures

  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused workplace
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
