Job Description

Start date of this position is unknown do to COVID-19. As soon as our programs are back in service we will provide a start date to applicants. We will be doing interviews in the mean time though.

StableStrides is looking for a full-time, non-exempt, office manager to join our 29 person strong team. We are located on 13620 Halleluiah Trail. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

StableStrides mission is to significantly improve the wellbeing of individuals through a connection with horses. StableStrides, a 501(c)(3) corporation, is the only PATH Intl. premier accredited center in southern Colorado. Additionally, it is the oldest and largest center in southern Colorado.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, with an hour long lunch break

Top 5 Activities to Ensure Success:

  • Manage organizational financials, including maintaining accounts receivable and payable in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop and enforce efficient and effective organizational best practices, processes, procedures, and policies
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service with client, volunteers, donor, coworkers, and guests, ensuring phones and reception duties are covered during all office hours
  • The Program Department is sufficiently supported in client data entry, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Maintain a positive and efficient working environment

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail
  • Two to five years office management experience, non-profit a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Self motivated, with the ability to work independently or in a group
  • Excellent computer skills with experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and preferred experience with Salesforce 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Working with and around horses. Working with and around farm and ranch equipment. Physically able to get around on foot in an outdoor environment, such as outdoor arenas, corrals, and barns.
  • Open office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
