Spicewood Cottages - Clyde, NC

Full time · 12-hour shifts · Day or Night · Every other weekend

About the role

We are hiring Personal Care Aides for day and night shifts. You will provide hands-on daily care to residents in our assisted living and memory care buildings, working alongside medication technicians and a supervisor on every shift.

Spicewood Cottages is a small community of four buildings: The Elms (our memory care unit) and The Oaks, The Willows and The Meadows (assisted living). At the start of every shift you are assigned a building and a specific group of residents - you will know exactly who they are, who showers on your shift, and which laundry is due that day.

Shifts

Day: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM - morning care, showers, meals and afternoon care
Night: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM - evening care, overnight rounds, laundry and linens, and getting residents ready for the day. Evenings are when sundowning is most common in memory care, so patience and a calm presence matter
Every other weekend rotation required
Consistent scheduling - we post the schedule in advance
