Job Description

New England Behavioral Services in Attleboro, MA is looking for a ABA therapist to join our team. We are currently looking for part-time and possibly full-time in home ABA therapists. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged. We are currently looking for the Greater Worcester areas, and Attleboro areas. Responsibilities

Applicants are willing to implement scientific data driven approaches to improve the lives of the children they serve. Implement programs to help reduce problematic behaviors and increase social peer interactions. Applicants may be required to attending regular team training and collaborating with team members. Applicants are self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals that are team oriented. Applicants have a reliable vehicle and are willing to work nights (after school hours) and possible weekends in order to effectively serve our students.

ABA THERAPIST

All work completed by the ABA therapist is supervised by a master’s level Clinician or BCBA. The ABA therapist provides 1:1 instruction to children in their homes, the clinic or community using well established and scientifically supported ABA teaching techniques. These techniques include: Functional Communication Training (FCT), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Behavioral Skills Training (BST), Response Chaining, and Incidental Teaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work with clients of varying ages and lift at least 20lbs
  • Working with parents or caregivers training target programs
  • Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
  • Collect data
  • General case assistance, paperwork and data input

Qualifications

Applicants must be dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic. Applicants with or completing an advanced degree in ABA, psychology, education, and/or a related field are encouraged to apply. Applicants who have relevant years of experience are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must have reliable transportation, pass a CORI check, and be available for at least 8 hours a week, if you meet these qualifications we are looking forward to reading your application.
