Senior Event Sales & Experience Manager - Luxury Weddings & Events

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and helping couples bring their dream weddings to life? At Maison Albion, we’re looking for a Senior Event Sales & Experience Manager to join our team and be the first point of contact for couples as they begin their journey to “I do.”

About Us

Maison Albion is the premier wedding venue in upstate New York, where exquisite 1878 architecture meets exceptional service. Nestled in the heart of orchard country, we’re dedicated to creating magical and unforgettable moments for every couple who becomes part of our Married at Maison family. Inspired by the world’s finest hotels and inns, we believe in thoughtful, personal service that celebrates all love stories.

If you’re ready to be part of a team that values compassion, attention to detail, and the art of hospitality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Position Summary

As the Senior Event Sales & Experience Manager, you’ll be the first voice and face couples encounter as they begin planning their special day. You’ll guide them through our stunning estate, listen to their dreams, and help them envision their perfect celebration. This role is all about building meaningful connections, providing exceptional service, and ensuring every couple feels confident and cared for throughout the planning process.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Tours: Welcome couples to Maison Albion, share our story, and guide them through the estate. Follow each visit with a proposal or clear next steps within a day.
Manage Communications: Respond promptly and thoughtfully to inquiries via text, email, and phone. Keep conversations organized in our CRM app and ensure every couple knows what comes next.
Maintain a Full Calendar: Keep inquiries moving toward scheduled visits and maximize available tour slots.
Oversee Advertising: Manage advertising campaigns, track performance, and help the right couples find us.
Ensure Continuity: Train teammates to provide excellent service during your time off, ensuring couples always feel attended to.
Support Growth: As part of a small, growing team, contribute to the evolution of this role and our business.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: At least 3 years of experience guiding people through big decisions, ideally in weddings, events, hospitality, or luxury industries.
Sales Mindset: You think like an account executive—owning your pipeline, following through, and delivering results.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: You enjoy managing your schedule, working remotely when appropriate, and being rewarded for your achievements.
Exceptional Communication: Polished writing, a warm phone presence, and attention to detail are essential.
Responsiveness: You follow up because you care, not because someone reminded you.
Adaptability: Comfortable working on your feet, navigating stairs, gravel paths, and lawns in various weather conditions.

What You’ll Earn

Hourly Pay: $25/hour (equivalent to $52,000 annually for 40 hours/week).
Uncapped Commission: 2% of contract value booked, including venue, bar, and add-ons. For example, booking $1 million in a year would earn an additional $20,000 in commission.
Additional Benefits: Paid time off and paid sick leave.

Your Week at Maison Albion

Tours First: Typically work at the estate 3–4 days a week, with weekend availability required.
Flexible Communication: Respond to inquiries from your phone or laptop through our CRM app.
Planned Coverage: Arrange coverage for days off to ensure seamless service for couples.
Wedding Days: No tours on wedding days—use this time to work remotely, take time off, or assist the event execution team.
