Job Description

Hobnob in Henrico, VA is looking for one sous chef to join our team. We are located on 6010 Hermitage Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory, anticipate ingredient needs and place food orders
  • Arrange re-stock accordingly, maintaining an organized kitchen
  • Train line cooks, ensuring efficient and consistent service
  • Work the line, providing leadership for the BOH staff
  • Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
  • Collaborate with chef/owner on new dishes and menus


Qualifications

  • Experience working as a sous chef or chef
  • High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
  • Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
  • Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
  • Organized, self-driven, passionate
