Hobnob in Henrico, VA is looking for one sous chef to join our team. We are located on 6010 Hermitage Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.
- Maintain inventory, anticipate ingredient needs and place food orders
- Arrange re-stock accordingly, maintaining an organized kitchen
- Train line cooks, ensuring efficient and consistent service
- Work the line, providing leadership for the BOH staff
- Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
- Collaborate with chef/owner on new dishes and menus
- Experience working as a sous chef or chef
- High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
- Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
- Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
- Organized, self-driven, passionate
