About Greenhorn Ranch
Greenhorn Ranch is California's premier dude ranch. Established in 1962, it hangs its hat on fostering families and new traditions. Our team is the real deal. Nestled in the "Lost Sierra," we're just an hour from Lake Tahoe and Reno, a few hours from Sacramento and the Bay Area but a world away culturally. We edge the Feather River and the Plumas National Forest. We meet real deal hippies and ranchers every day. We breathe cowboy culture with all the fixins of California living. A long-time member of the Dude Ranch Association, we are driven to serve guests through Western hospitality, a warm welcome, real ranch living, and an unparalleled vacation experience. Catering to greenhorns from around the world, it guides families and vacationers on a genuine horse ranch experience with guided trail rides, horseback riding lessons, expert wranglers, stocked fishing ponds, and more. With thousands of miles of trail, more than 80-head horses trained for family riding, a staff of full-time wranglers and adventure seekers, Greenhorn Ranch is looking for rugged, rough and ready guide with a keen sense of empathy to connect with the average Greenhorn. We want to work with people who want to work with flatlanders looking to discover a new way of life. We help them cultivate their cowboy within in every way.
Greenhorn Ranch uses Homebase to manage their team with employee scheduling, timesheets, and applicant tracking.
