Flatbread Neapolitan Pizzeria in the Old Mill District is hiring for the position of Kitchen Manager for our Bend, OR location.

If you are a self-motivated, organized, communicative and a flexible hands-on professional, this is the job for you! 

Our KM’s are engaged with each shift and will master the art of wood-fired cooking while

also working the lines including expo, pantry and prep as needed. The ability to move with a sense of urgency, coordinate the flow between various culinary positions and manage with grace under pressure is expected. It is essential to the success of the candidate that they possess the ability to work with professionalism and positivity during volume. We cultivate a culture of respect and gratitude for those who choose to dine with us, as well as those ho choose to work with us.

Responsibilities include ordering all food through our primary and local distributors, interviewing candidates, executing recipes to specification, food preparation, line work, staff training, health department compliance, labor management,scheduling and controlling food cost while maintaining a fresh inventory. 

Previous kitchen management of motivating and inspiring others is essential. A good sense of humor is greatly appreciated. 

Additional requirements include:

* Quality control 

* Managing All Kitchen Personnel 

* Food Purchasing and Inventory Management 

* Safety and Sanitation in Accordance with Applicable Laws and Regulations 

* P&L Accountability - Cost Controls for Food and Kitchen Labor 

*Computer and email skills required including Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive

*Boundless Creativity and Initiative required

*Experience with seasonal Ingredients and menu training rollouts

* Ability to Implement and Teach various Cooking Methods and Techniques 

Two to Four years of culinary management/chef experience with direct supervision of

the production staff is essential, along with strong communication skills and a

proven track record of successfully controlling costs, while maintaining quality. 

Wage starts at $18+ Based on Experience. In addition, a monthly and quarterly bonus is available with a potential of up to $9,000 annually.

Candidates are eligible to receive up to 80 hours annually of accrued PTO, based on hours

worked. The ideal candidate must have an ability to lead, accept feedback, create

a positive work environment and work closely with the Owners and our Director
