Roofing Sales Representative (1099 - High Commission Only) – Topeka / Manhattan Area

Are you a natural closer who thrives in field sales and wants to unlock your full earning potential? At EDI Remodeling and Roofing, based in Saint George, KS, we’re expanding our team across the Topeka, Manhattan, and Junction City areas. If you’re a self-motivated, independent sales professional with a knack for closing deals, this is your chance to join a company that values transparency, rewards hard work, and empowers you to focus on what you do best—selling.

This is a 1099 contractor role with a high-commission-only structure, offering an incredible opportunity for top earners to take control of their income.

Responsibilities

As a Roofing Sales Representative, you’ll focus on driving residential (Shingle, Metal) and commercial (TPO) roofing contracts. Your day-to-day will include:

Generating leads and building relationships with potential clients in your territory.
Conducting in-person consultations to assess customer needs and present tailored roofing solutions.
Closing deals and ensuring a seamless handoff to our operations team for project execution.

What sets us apart? You’ll have the freedom to focus solely on sales while we handle material orders, permits, and elite installation crews. Plus, our open-book policy ensures 100% transparency—you’ll see actual material and labor invoices, so there are no hidden fees or cuts.

Qualifications

We’re looking for experienced, driven sales professionals with:

At least 1 year of experience in outside sales, door-to-door (D2D) sales, or related industries (Roofing, Solar, Home Security, or Insurance Adjusting).
A reliable vehicle and smartphone.
A competitive, independent mindset with the discipline to work without micro-management.

Salary

This is a high-commission-only role with a top-tier structure:

50/50 split on net profit or a flat percentage per closed contract.
Average earnings: $70,000 per year.
Top producers: $200,000+ per year.
Commissions are paid promptly as soon as client deposits clear and jobs are completed.
