Growing Solar Company Seeking a Solar Phone Advocate!

Apollo Energy is a rapidly growing solar marketing, sales, and installation company. Apollo Energy is the only majority female owned solar company in Colorado and was founded to provide homeowners with affordable ownership options for solar electricity. We act as an all-in-one solution for homeowners and pride ourselves on being experts in the industry. We specialize in marketing, sales, and educating homeowners on the benefits of switching to solar. While the environment is extremely important to us, our main goal is to save homeowners money while increasing the value of their home.

Position Title: Solar Phone Advocate

Reports to: CEO

Status: Nonexempt 

Location: Denver, CO 

Apollo Energy’s main goal is to educate homeowners on the benefits of switching to solar. The Solar Phone Advocate has an opportunity to change the course of history by helping our world become a cleaner, greener place! This team member explains the benefits of switching to solar to homeowners, sets appointments on the phone, collects electricity usage, and propels the overall mission of the company. The Solar Phone Advocate is a persuasive communicator, customer service oriented, professional, personable, and has an eye for detail. We are a rapidly growing company and have a collaborative, team-spirited atmosphere that focuses on employee growth and professional development.   • Via phone, educate homeowners about the benefits and cost savings when switching to solar energy
  • Schedule homeowners for a free solar assessment that demonstrates Apollo Energy’s solar energy product
  • Collect electricity usage with customers by conference calling with utility companies 
  • Add appointments and necessary information to the Google appointment calendar
  • Document all information in Zoho, the company CRM
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Capable of making 80-100 phone calls per day
  • Efficient worker in a variety of settings
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • High level understanding and use of Google-suite and CRM softwares 
  • Strong sales ability or willingness to learn
  • 1+ years of successful phone sales experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Drive to have positive and productive conversations
  • Exceptional objection handling & closing skills
  • High integrity & ethical standards
  • College education preferred, but experience can be substituted for education
  • Track record of accomplishing whatever you put your mind to
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required 
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate with others
  • Experience canvassing preferred


  • Ability to work Tuesday to Friday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
