THE HUMANE SOCIETY FOR GREATER SAVANNAH

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah was started in 1952 and is a private, non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization in Savannah, GA. Each year, HSGS finds homes for 2,500 animals and performs 7,000 spay/neuter surgeries at our clinic Pet Fix Savannah. HSGS is the largest no-kill shelter in Georgia outside of Atlanta and in 2025 we provided essential services to 20,132 pets at our facility. Our mission is to better the lives of pets and people.
